Peggy started quilting in 1984, her first quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted. She has pieced numerous types of quilts, her favorite style is modern quilting. She has won several awards including first place at the Minnesota Quilters Show, Exemplary Machine Quilting-Digitized at the Arizona Quilters Guild Show, and first place at the Minnesota State Fair.
She has had an extensive and successful career in interior design, showcasing her skill for color and design selection. Peggy utilizes this experience in her complimentary consultations to help you achieve your quilting vision.
Peggy lives in Waconia with her husband, Rick, and dog, Chloe. She has three adult children, four grandsons, and two granddaughters — her grandchildren are the love of her life.
Prairie Point Quilting began out of Peggy's passion for quilting and design and her desire to share it with others. Peggy looks forward to each project and enjoys working with her clients to achieve the best possible result in a cost effective manner.
